| This course covers a general survey of Debtor-Creditor Law; an Introduction to Civil Litigation; and hands-on training in Practical Family Law. Each section will be held over 3 weeks. Debtor-Creditor Law covers secured and unsecured debts including the preparation of Judicial Council forms. Introduction to Civil Litigation covers an overview of civil litigation, descriptions of the primary stages of a civil case as well as practical approaches to managing each aspect of a case effectively and efficiently. Practical Family Law provides hands-on training in family law, including the art of pleadings, arguing cases, use of Judicial Council forms, and the use of computer programs available to assist the family law attorney. |
